I can’t access my Alma account anymore. What should I do?

If you’ve lost your password, you can reset it by going to this page and clicking on “Forgot password”.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Keeping your account secure is a top priority for Alma. This is why you must confirm your identity and authenticate yourself during your first login. Two-factor authentication will again be required every three months, as well as each time you log in from a new device.

This process ensures the security of your account and your activity.

2FA verification method: By email

You must open the email sent to you and click on the link received at the email address you use to log in. This action must be completed on the same device and browser so the system can recognize you.

2FA verification method: Google Connect

If your email is hosted by Google, you can choose to log in with Google.

To activate this option, click on “Sign in with Google.” A “Google Login” button also appears below the password login form for easy access.

Once you choose Google as your login method, any login issue will likely be related to Google rather than Alma. Specifically, if you have authentication problems when signing in to your Gmail account, this will also block your access to Alma. Please refer to this Google help page and contact Google support to identify the issue.


Strong customer authentication

Email / phone number verification

We now require each administrator (Owner or Administrator) to verify both the login email address and a phone number. This step is mandatory to continue accessing the dashboard.

These verifications help secure sensitive actions (changing your IBAN, updating your password, etc.).

For the email verification, you can click on the verification link sent during your signup, or request a new email by clicking the button provided.


Login issues

If you are experiencing login issues with your Alma account, we recommend clearing your browser cache and deleting your cookies. Don’t worry — it’s very simple:

On Google Chrome

  1. Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner.

  2. Select “More tools” > “Clear browsing data.”

  3. At the top of the page, choose a time range.

  4. Check the boxes for “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files.”

  5. Click “Clear data.”

On Safari

  1. Click Safari at the top left.

  2. Go to “Preferences”, then open the “Privacy” tab.

  3. Click “Manage Website Data” and search for Alma.

  4. Select the relevant entry and click “Remove.”

On Microsoft Edge

  1. Open the Settings menu by clicking the “…”

  2. Go to “Privacy, search, and services.”

  3. Under “Clear browsing data,” click “Choose what to clear.”

  4. Select “Cookies and other site data” and click “Clear now.”
