Is it possible to postpone the date of one of my monthly payments?

  • Updated

If you need to postpone the payment date of one of your installments by a few days, it is possible to do so under certain conditions! You can postpone the date of your installment yourself up to 30 days after the date originally scheduled, free of charge.

To do so, the following conditions must be true:

- Your monthly payment is less than 10 days late

- You have not already postponed your monthly payment.

Our system will ask you to choose a new due date from 3 later dates, allowing you to plan your payment as effectively as possible.

This is can be done easily from your secure payment link, available in the emails you receive from Alma.

If you have opted for a payment in 4 installments, please note that the total duration of the payment schedule may not exceed 3 months from the date of the first installment.

For example: if you initiated a payment in 4 installments on 15/03 and you wish to postpone some of your installments, please keep in mind that the fourth installment will need to be paid on 15/06 at the latest.

This function is available up to 10 days after the due date in question. Simply click on the « Deferring monthly payement » box as shown below:

Then choose a date from those available, and click on « Validate »:

In some cases, we may exceptionally allow you to postpone your due date by a few extra days. In this case, you will need to contact us so that we can consider your request.

To ensure the quickest possible response, please include the following information: the email address and telephone number used at the time of your purchase, and the amount and date of the transaction.

You will also need to enclose the following documents with your request:

  • A copy of both sides of your valid identity document, with the edges clearly visible
  • Proof of address of less than 3 months in your name. If you are living at someone’s place, you will need to enclose a dated and signed accommodation certificate from that person, a copy of their ID that meets the above criteria, and proof of address in their name.
