What are the access rights of different types of users?

  • Updated

In the ‘Users’ section of your Alma account, you can add new users or change the role of existing users. For example, if you have multiple shop employees, shop managers, and customer service staff, you can create personal accounts for each of them with the appropriate access levels. Each user has a role, which determines their access.

Below are the details of the authorisations associated with each role:

Sales (in-store payments only) The user can make in-store sales by connecting to our dedicated interface, but has no access to the Alma account.
Accountant The user has all the rights of a Seller and also has access to the Alma account to view sales and create & export reports with accounting data. However, no refunds can be activated.
Operator The user has all the rights of a Seller as well as access to the Alma account to view sales and issue refunds.
Manager The Manager has all the rights of an Operator and an Accountant and also the ability to edit certain account data.
Director The Owner has all the rights of a Manager. In addition, he is notified of changes to the account's bank details and has the option to transfer the role of ‘Owner’ to another user.
Deactivated The user cannot perform any of the above actions.

If you have any questions about any of these roles, please contact us at support@almapay.com.
